Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rendezvous.ltd and any related services offered by Rendezvous ("Rendezvous," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Rendezvous is an early-access trip planner. The legal entity behind the Service is being incorporated in the United States. Once incorporation completes we will update these Terms with the full company name and registered address.
1. What the Service does
Rendezvous helps individuals and groups pick a travel destination that fits everyone's preferences. You fill out a short trip profile (origin city, dates, budget tier, trip vibes, priorities, weather, and so on); we run those answers through a recommendation engine that combines hard filters (such as visa feasibility and flight tolerance) with a large language model and we return one best-fit destination plus a short list of alternatives. Group recommendations aggregate the answers of every participant who has completed their trip profile.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including any invitations you send. Keep your login credentials confidential and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised use at hello@rendezvous.global.
3. Recommendations are advisory, not booking advice
The destinations, dates, and other suggestions the Service returns are recommendations only. They are generated by software, including AI models, and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or assumptions that do not match your actual circumstances. Rendezvous does not:
- Book flights, hotels, or any other travel product on your behalf.
- Guarantee visa eligibility, safety, weather conditions, prices, or availability at any destination.
- Verify or warrant the accuracy of any third-party information referenced inside a recommendation.
- Provide legal, medical, financial, or immigration advice.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail of a trip — visas, vaccinations, travel advisories, insurance, flight availability, accommodation, weather, local laws, and any other practical matter — before you book or travel. Travel involves risk; Rendezvous does not accept responsibility for decisions you make in reliance on a recommendation.
4. Your content and group sharing
You retain ownership of the answers and any other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display, and share Your Content as needed to operate the Service — including sharing your answers with other participants of a group trip you have joined and including your aggregated answers in the prompt we send to our recommendation engine.
If you create a public share link, anyone with the URL can view the recommendation read-only. You can rotate or disable the link at any time from the trip page. We are not responsible for downstream use of a share link once you have distributed it.
5. Things you must not do
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
- Submit content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, infringing, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent any rate limit, security control, or authentication mechanism.
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted (for example, a properly authorised API integration).
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the Service or any part of it without our prior written consent.
- Use the Service to spam or impersonate any person or organisation.
6. Third-party services
The Service may include links to or embed information from third-party websites or services (for example, airline schedules, map providers, or destination guides). We do not control those third parties and we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your interactions with any third party are subject to that third party's terms and privacy policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design system, copy, brand marks, and aggregated content, is owned by Rendezvous or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own travel-planning purposes, subject to these Terms.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose Rendezvous or another user to meaningful risk. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Manage account inside the Service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual-property ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rendezvous disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that any recommendation will result in a satisfactory trip.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rendezvous and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rendezvous and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws apply, nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under those laws.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where required, notify you by email or in the Service before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
